MICROBIOLOGY

The Microbiology department has established itself as a longstanding and independent hub for microbiology testing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It delivers high-quality microbiology services to a diverse range of sectors, including food and beverage processors, cosmetics/pharmaceutical and personal care product manufacturers, retailers, restaurants, catering services, agriculture, industry suppliers, various institutions, and private individuals.
Renowned as one of the best-equipped laboratories in the Middle East for microbiological testing, our facility is ISO 17025-2017 Accredited and SFDA Certified. Our dedicated team of highly experienced and professional experts enables the microbiological testing laboratory to excel in providing exemplary services across all areas of microbiological testing. We work closely with our clients to ensure the production of quality and standard products in frozen and chilled food, fresh food, drinking water, swimming pool water, ice and beverages, animal feed, wastewater, and environmental samples.
Our services extend to sampling and analysis for workplace air monitoring, machines/equipment, and personnel swabs (Surface and Personal Hygiene). The Microbiology Department generates accurate results while adhering to strict quality standards in compliance with SFDA, SASO, GSO, WHO, EPA, and other national and international standard requirements. We take pride in our microbiological laboratory's fast turnaround times on all services, providing our clients with efficient and reliable results.

Areas of particular expertise include:
  • Water Analysis – bacteriological analysis of water [SASO, AWWA, WHO Standards].
  • Food and animal feed analysis as per SASO, CCFRA, BAM, and AOAC.
  • Food implicated illness: monitoring food implicated illness or food intoxication for microbiology.
  • Hygiene monitoring and Environmental Pathogen Monitoring: -Environmental Pathogen monitoring for different companies and personnel hygiene for their employees.
  • Testing the Efficacy of Disinfectant: Testing the efficacy for different chemicals against different microorganisms.
  • Soil and Water – Soil and Water for suitably discharge to the sea.
